Guided hikes, history and nature talks, audiovisual programs, demonstrations, and other outdoor events are offered by park interpreters throughout the year at Mount Magazine State Park. Organized groups can request special programs by calling the park at (479) 963-8502 and scheduling these programs in advance. School groups are encouraged to schedule field trips to the park for hands-on curriculum-based education programs. Young park visitors ages 7 to 14 are invited to participate in the park's Junior Naturalist Program and Arkansas State Parks Explorer Program.
